Morning Star Mosaics
My name is Ruth Simpson. I have been an artist all my life
and a mosaic artist for about 3 years now. I specialize in
doing mosaics using a style commonly referred to as
"Pique Assiette" This process involves transforming
vintage china plates and saucers, into artistic designs that
are always one-of-a-kind pieces.
I love to compliment each design with delicately-colored
stained glass and other treasures such as ceramic flowers,
and birds to finish each piece. My style is often referred to
as shabby, vintage or english garden.
I specialize in doing mosaics for the home and garden.
Most of the pieces which you see on my website have
already found a home. However, I am always available to
